In order to
provide a more efficient service to our members, the EPF
has taken the initiative to centralize and update the
database on Member and the Employer details.
At present;
The EPF has only limited details regarding the Members
and the Employers
The Labour Department and the EPF Central Bank do not
have a centralized system
The District Labour Offices are not linked to the Labour
Department Head Office
Thus, the EPF is proposing to establish a centralized
system which will be used by the Labour Department, the
district Labour Departments as well as the Central Bank.
The centralization process needs the EPF to re-register
all of its Members and Employers with up to date details
and information. The collection of the information will
be done in two stages.
1. A new form will be sent to the Employers to be
distributed among the Employees in order to
gather new information. This form is to be duly filled
and returned to the EPF.
2. The EPF
will be visiting work places and register thumbprints of
Employees and also collect current
information of both the employer and members for
updating the system.
The EPF requests the Employers and the Employees to
co-operate in this venture and it will be a
great undertaking for the benefit of the members.
