  Re-Engineering EPF

The EPF has decided to re-structure itself to provide a much more efficient service to all its stakeholders. Being a great venture the re-structuring of the business process will be done in several stages.

1. Divisional Improvement Projects

2. Development of the new website

3. Implementation of a new software package for Accounting and Investment Management

4. Development of a corporate plan and setting up of new divisions

5. Re-registration of EPF members

6. Implementation of a Provident Fund Software System for all the EPF functions

The main focus of the re-engineering project is to introduce the new corporate plan, centralize the information and to make the whole business process much more efficient. The member Identification Number will be reissued and the total internal process of the EPF will be automated to provide a much better service. The member information will be updated and will be centralized for the benefit of all stakeholders namely the members, employers, EPF Central Bank, Labour Department and the district LabourOffices. Once the new IT system is implemented the members will be able to interact directly with the EPF through the use of the new web site giving them the opportunity to inquire about their account balance and to resolve their problems more effectively.
Thus through the new re-engineering plan, the EPF will turn a new leaf by renewing itself for the betterment of the member and the employer.
