Objectives :
The EPF
conducts mobile services at employer’s work premises
upon their requests for solving various problems faced
by the employees and employers and for providing an
efficient service to its members and creating awareness
among its stakeholders. Officers of both the EPF
department of the Central Bank and the respective Labor
Department participate in these mobile services.
Major areas of concern :
The mobile
services helps to identify the problems faced by all
stakeholders and solve them immediately. Any major
issues that surface at mobile services which require
further examination will be taken up by the respective
officers and cleared at the head office.
Electronic
submission is encouraged in order to:
Amalgamation of accounts if members have more than one
account.
Amendments of names
Cross checking of the details in the Central Bank with
the records kept by the employers and
making necessary correction if any.
Issuing member balance statements by connecting the
database in the Central Bank through
Internet
Providing advice and guidelines for the members
